Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars have hinted they could opt out of the League due to financial constraints.
The 2009/2010 season begins on Sunday 5 September but the participating sixteen clubs are yet to receive any financial package from the Ghana Football Association.
Arrears from last season’s sponsorship from telecommunication giants Globacom have not been paid.
The arrears from last season have even not been paid and the current financial situation of the club is not good at all. All the clubs are crying because it is not easy to pay players and motivate them for the task ahead when there is no money.They are really suffering and if care is not taken they might not even play the match on Sunday.
Aduana open their title at home to Real Tamale United at Dormaa Ahenkro.
